Weddings don’t need to fill a room with people to feel special. Sometimes, the most powerful celebrations are the quiet ones. Brian and Min decided their day meant more with less. They exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at the Wake County Courthouse as their parents watched. The mothers signed the marriage certificate.
After saying "I do," we took to the streets for a portrait session designed to feel less like a formal shoot and more like an afternoon walk. There is another photo op around every corner in Downtown Raleigh, and we stopped at many of them. Brian and Min laughed, held each other close, and even paused at a cafe for a matcha break. We closed out the day with family portraits and more bride and groom pictures on the grounds at The Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary. Rejoining their families under the soft afternoon light, the couple popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate their next chapter.
