Moody, Romantic Wedding at Old Lystra Inn Chapel Hill with Adam & Allison

Weddings can definitely be a stressful adventure, but it was pretty clear to me and everyone how much fun Adam & Allison were having with their guests.

Adam & Allison knew exactly what they wanted when they told me that they wanted a laid back party vibe versus a formal production for their wedding. And let’s just say a party was definitely had. Everyone enjoyed the most savory hors d’oeuvres from a local food truck and the best cocktails from a mobile cocktail provider. As huge concert go-ers, they had a lively dance floor that was filledwith laughs and smiles and loud sing a longs. No one ever stopped dancing and if they did, it was to enjoy another drink or a piece of cake!

The ceremony itself was beautiful and heartfelt. I especially loved the two-piece arch that featured florals and branches that perfectly framed them as they said “I do”. Their mini entourage of Ring Bearers and Flower Girls also stole the show during the processional and in between cocktail hour.

Being able to take a step back and know that your wedding day is for you and your significant other, and realizing that no one else’s opinions matter, makes for memories that you’ll never forget. Your friends and family will also remember the extraordinary amounts of fun they had with you as you started your journey into matrimony.

I also love being a part of energetic weddings like this because it makes my job more fun as I capture the candids and document the little moments big or small that one day when you’re flipping through the wedding album, you’ll be able to say: “wow my guests had the best time at our wedding!”
