Romantic Moody Courthouse Wedding in Downtown Raleigh with Cindy & Rey
Cindy & Rey’s courthouse wedding in downtown Raleigh was a romantic winter affair. The weather that day was spectacularly moody with the threat of a rain storm, but created the perfect overcast backdrop for family photos outside the courthouse. Unfortunately, before we could fit in all the wedding portraits, it did start to pour. But not before we fit in the most stunning photos on the sidewalk with Cindy & Rey being showered with tiny petals from the large trees overhead.
I mean those photos look like they came right out a romantic movie.
I really loved that Cindy & Rey incorporated a mini wedding party and adored the lavendar dresses chosen for the bridesmaid. Just because you are having a microwedding or courthouse wedding doesn’t mean that you always have to keep it simple. Asking their favorite people to dress up and be a part of the day as the wedding party was such a nice little touch to the day, and a beautiful way to incorporate the people who have been a part of their story.
