Culture Celebrating Golden Hour Session at Duke Campus in Durham with Megan & Shonal
Megan reached out about a surprise photoshoot with Shonal during their attendance of the annual Carolina Tiger Rescue Ball. She was so excited to be able to capture some golden hour moments around Duke’s campus while the both of them were dressed in traditional Indian Formal wear, which was this year’s Rescue Ball theme.
When I say that this photoshoot was totally last minute, I mean they reached out the day of the event and it so happened that I was free!!! I think it’s such a beautiful experience, to be able to see people celebrate their own or different cultures. The vibrant colors of her saree and his sherwani were just jaw droppingly gorgeous and such a fun blast of color against the gothic architecture of Duke’s campus. I also love when couples want to celebrate dressing up and being with each other at an event that occurs outside of their day to day lives.
