Caleb & Meredith met through dating apps and swiping right was probably the best thing they ever did, since they have been inseparable since. Recapping their relationship, Meredith explained that right after their first date at Blue Cup, they basically knew they wanted to spend more time together and made so many plans.
Meredith described herself as a planner but loves spontaneous adventure, and describes Caleb as adventurous. She attributes a lot of her best adventures as things that Caleb has planned. And there is nothing the two of them love more than to celebrate life together and make new memories.
Their one vision for these engagement photos were to feature water in the background and be among the trees and there was no place better but Fort Fisher! Waterside engagement photos are something I really enjoy because there are just so many ways to frame the couple or family in the shot. I also love the vibrant blues that are featured on the beach, and yet nothing makes me feel more connected than the earthy tones of a state park river. Water can be a beautiful analogy for a relationship, it can be energetic and crazy or it can be calm and relaxing. It’s always a great time finding how to best reflect my client’s when they want to have a body of water in the background of their photos!
