Cozy Intimate In home Engagement in Carrboro with Rachel & Dan
Engagement photos don’t always have to be in a beautiful garden or on the beach. In fact, the best ones are the intimate sessions where a client invites me into their home and shows me parts of their every day lives. And that’s why when Rachel & Dan reached out about an in home engagement session followed by a walk around the town where they live, I was so excited to be the engagement photographer chosen for this gig!
Dan & Rachel met through mutual friends during a Spring Equinox party and felt connected by their shared values, love to travel, nerdy hobbies, and love for dogs. They feel that through all the time they’ve spent together they’ve grown to become each other’s best friends and are excited to tie the knot in 2027. The two of them have been living together in Carrboro for some time and are excited to bring in their close family and friends to celebrate their special day next year.
During our engagement shoot we found fun ways to incorporate some of their favorite spots around town and favorite games that they play together. Finding ways to incorporate people’s everyday lives into photos that best describe their love is a creative challenge that I always enjoy.
