Scholarly Headshots in Chapel Hill Campus with Claire
I have had the honor of working creatively with so many people in creating the ideas and capturing their headshots and branding photos for their businesses. I love being able to collaborate with other artists and getting to know people on a different scale to be able to properly create a headshot that best describes them.
Claire reached out for some professor, scholarly headshot portraits that make her look both serious and fun and we were able to play around with these ideas at UNC, which is where she is a American Food and Culture professor. (If interested you should check out her dissertation on the cultural relevance of vanilla!) Posing her in the library and in her office, we used the different lighting and backdrops to create these academic portraits.
Headshots and branding should always be something that you feel reflects who you are and what your business stands for. And it’s always so fun to incorporate props and every day items that you use in a creative way that fits the theme.
