Elegant Electrifying Wedding at The Hartwood in Selma NC with Sarah & Brighton
Sarah & Brighton met while in college at UNC, both of them participants in the marching band’s drumline. Sarah is an ER nurse at UNC hospitals and Brighton is a news director for a local Chapel Hill radio station. So their ties to Chapel Hill are still intact and ever growing. The two of them share Enyz and Laszlo, their two adorable kittens.
These little details I just described to you about them are so important because they took every bit of their life together and incorporated it into their wedding day.
Instead of a guest book where people could sign their names, the two of them decided on a radio guest book where everyone could leave messages instead, a way to bring in Brighton’s radio station background.
They also had a tshirt toss instead of a bouquet toss and during this plushie cats were tossed that helped cover the cost of adoption for animals at the local animal shelter. If you wanted to donate as well, there was a chance for you to do so during the night.
It’s so rare that people are able to find unique ways to take the little details of their every day lives and meld it into their wedding day in such an effortless manner. But Sarah & Brighton not only accomplished this but went above and beyond and you could tell that all these details were a huge hit with the wedding guests!
