There is no higher compliment in this business than having clients who are so happy with their photographs that they pass my name along to their closest friends. That’s exactly how Jen and Scott found me—their friends Lily and Tanner had an epic Waffle House wedding back in 2024.
For their own big day, Jen and Scott wanted a celebration that felt both elevated and effortless. They blended their two families in an intimate ceremony on the rooftop of the AC Hotel in Raleigh's North Hills district. The city was in the middle of a triple-digit heat wave, but the sky-high background was nothing short of a perfect shade of blue. The surrounding shopping district also offered plenty of versatile spots at ground level, so we headed downstairs for a relaxed portrait session after the vows.
To top off the celebration, everyone gathered back at the bar for a heartfelt family toast. The happy couple clinked cans of their drink of choice—Miller Lite—to celebrate their new beginning.
