Timeless Rose Garden Engagement in Raleigh with Tanner & Michelle
Tanner & Michelle will be having a courthouse wedding later this year. But they wanted to have some engagement photos to display and share with family and friends. But their one hesitation? Both of them really don’t like being in front of the camera.
But it’s definitely hard to tell when you flip through these timeless engagement photos. Honestly, Tanner & Michelle look quite comfortable in front of the lens and also appear quite smitten with each other.
One thing about being a photographer is making sure that my clients feel they are in a safe space and can be comfortable as themselves. I love chatting with everyone during our session to break the ice and get to know them on a different level. But it’s also much easier when I ask couples to be natural and walk or hold each other in a way that feels like second nature to them. Sometimes asking someone to whisper something sweet or dirty in the others ear or dance around in the middle of a garden can create the best keepsakes. And just looking at these photos of Tanner & Michelle it would never seem like they were camera shy!
