Pottery Branding Photography with AK Studio

Over the last year I’ve been working to add more branding clients into my business and when Ashley reached out to photograph some pieces for her pottery studio I was so excited. I actually had photographed her house before for her and Shane’s engagement session, and fell in love with it yet again. This house is full of light and now amazing, handcrafted pieces of pottery. You can find Ashley’s cups at The Optimist in Raleigh, holding your favorite tea or cup of coffee. Her pieces will be available for purchase soon at the coffee shop as well as on her website.

One of the things that draws me to Ashely’s work is quirky designs and the way she has a slight darkness in her work (why yes I did go home with that skull dish and the accompanying pot) One of the coolest things about Ashley’s wedding was she actually handcrafted glasses for everyone at her wedding, which I still keep on my dresser and use frequently. I can’t wait to watch her small business thrive and grow because she has talent and if these photos are just one small step in her journey, I’m glad I can be there to facilitate it.
