Twinkling, Ethereal Wedding at Merrimon-Wynne in Raleigh with Linnea & Cody

October is one of the busiest seasons for wedding vendors, but it is a joyous time period for couples that are getting married. It is also one of those unpredictable months of the year when it comes to Mother Nature. From hurricanes, cool weather and sudden strong winds, you never know what you may get. This year it feels as if nature is slowed down and so brides that may have pictured the crisp autumn hues on their wedding day may be a bit disappointed as the leaves have yet to begin their magical changes.

Linnea & Cody had the most enchanting wedding at The Merrimon-Wynne House located in Downtown Raleigh. I’m sure you all remember them from their engagement shoot at NCMA and Two Rooster’s. Well if those pictures were not the definition of perfection, their wedding definitely was. From the carefully placed details on the mantels to the golden accents in an otherwise blue colors featured around the ceremony, you could tell how much thought Linnea & Cody put into making sure their wedding transcended into a twinkling space to showcase their love for one another.

I loved that they included their three fur babies in wedding portraits and how photogenic each of them were, rolling around in the venue lawn. One of my favorite details was the audio guest book, where guests could record a message for the couple to play back and to relive memories. More than often, couples usually leave a guest book or photo book out for guests to sign. But this audio book will be such a personalized and treasured present that was filled with the voices of loved ones sharing fond memories of the couple from growing up to starting their lives with one another. I mean it doesn’t get any more magical than that!

At the end of the night, the reception was held under dazzling lawn lights where family and friends shared beautiful toasts to the couple. The food and drinks were passed around as this intimate group laughed and conversed about the lovely couple. A truly breathtaking end of the day for a wonderful couple!
