Downtown Frederick Courthouse Wedding - Amanda and Steven

Amanda and I have been friends since I walked into UNCW expecting to see my friend Brittany and spotted Amanda. Amanda and I had so much in common, we were from the same small town and had a lot of similar interests. Honestly she was one of my best friends during my freshman year and that bond has lasted for ten years now. We have traveled together, celebrated highs and lows, and she was even my maid of honor at my own wedding, so I was so honored to capture this special day for her. When she moved to Frederick, Maryland I made sure I visited anytime I passed through or visited Washington, D.C.

Steven and Amanda met right before the pandemic and solidified their relationship during quarantine together. Their family has grown by two adorable, fluffy children, and they’ve moved into a new place together. They celebrated the day with lots of tequila, friendship, and family. Her grandmother even gave her a broach to wear that was her own mother’s that has been passed down on weddings days. I absolutely loved it because it kind of looked like a sugar skull which totally went with the theme of the day. Even with the threat of rain they handled the day as it came, even ducking into a different bar than the one that they wanted to take a few shots of tequila before celebrating at their home.

This day was so rock n roll, proving that you really can get married anyway you want.
