Fall Family Session at the Meadows with Katie, Matt & Claire
North Carolina is one of the most beautiful places in the Fall and the truth is you don’t have to drive all the way to the mountains to get beautiful shots of the changing leaves and colors. This family session actually took place in Raleigh at The Meadows. The fields and the forests make for such a poetic reflection of fall in North Carolina. As a photographer, I have worked in all seasons, but North Carolina is truly such a treat at this time every year!
This sweet family of three was also just the sweetest. I loved watching Claire walk through the tall stalks in the field and capturing the joy of parenthood reflected in Katie and Matt’s eyes as they watched their little one make the field her personal playground. It’s so easy to get lost in the day to day stresses of life, but having this moment to just enjoy each other’s company on a wonderful fall day is important. It’s not just a way to relive memories later, but a way to make them as you go.
