LaTasha and Collin - Dorothea Dix Portrait Session

I know I’ve mentioned Raleigh Courthouse Wedding’s before - but sometimes I have couples who opt out of the the courthouse package and just want to take some bomb ass photos together in their wedding attire, and this is where LaTasha and Collin come in.

These two knew they were destined to be together from the moment they met and they had originally planned to have a small wedding ceremony at their home before Covid-19 came a knocking. Heading to the courthouse before the quarantine’s went into play, they sealed the deal and organized this portrait session. Collin knew he wanted bright light and nature in the background and I suggested Dix Park.

Dix Park is gorgeous in all the seasons but the spring is something special. From the fields of flowers, to the gorgeous sunsets it was everything they had imagined when it came to their wedding portraits. I was so happy to be able to capture this magical moment in their lives even if it wasn’t the way they had imagined, and so grateful for them to trust me for this moment.
