Kristin & Ryan - Foggy Max Patch Engagement Session
The world is a small, small place. You never know when your path will cross with someone you’ve met previously, or understand how things are connected.
Kristin and Ryan were sitting across from me at their consultation when she goes “I totally remember you from college,” and I’m not talking oh we shared a few classes together, I’m talking we worked on a video project in my apartment.
Fast forward almost 7 years and here we are meeting again about me capturing her wedding day! Luckily she said yes!
I had already had a wedding planned in Asheville and they decided to take the weekend to explore, hang out with friends, and of course hike up Max Patch for some Blue Ridge Mountain photos but the weather had other plans. From our initial climb the fog was thick, and the higher we went the thicker it got. We couldn’t see a few feet in front of us. Needless to say I was pumped because I had never had a chance to shoot in the fog that so many other creatives have shared, but Kristin and Ryan were definitely a little sad they weren’t going to get those mountain views.
But right as we hiked down on the other side of the path, the fog cleared just enough to get a few photos with the Blue Ridge in the background.
Personally I love these images and hope you do too!
