Deidre & Kaleb - Blue Ridge Parkway Engagement Session

Let’s drive to Boone, take some shots, and hike a mountain!

This sounded like a great idea when they planned this a few months ago thinking it would actually be cold this October but it was HOT and we were all sweating. And with a weird humid fog rolling in we didn’t get to see the overlook at the top of the mountain.

So we headed back down the mountain and took some portraits on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

I knew Kaleb in High School but Deidre was the one who found me! Why he cracked jokes I got to know the two of them. They lived in Boone for awhile, told me all about the great restaurants, and we gabbed about how amazing The GameKeeper restaurant is after they went to it the night before.

One the way back down we stopped at a lake and took a few sunset photos! Can’t wait for their wedding next year.
