Jessie & Hudson's Asheville Elopement Weekend
I met Jessie and Hudson last year when Jessie reached out about shooting their engagement session at the Fair. When I asked them when they were planning on getting married they said they were unsure due to Hudson being in law school. So when Erica from Folie a Duex (who did all the planning and floral arrangements for this event) and I got together to give away an elopement Jessie entered. Fun fact: We actually drew a different name for the winner of the contest but they couldn't take advantage of the giveaway and we had to draw a second name. Turns out it was Jessie and Hudson.
This is actually their last weekend in North Carolina as they are moving back to Pittsburgh. Since they needed to legally get married we hung out at the Asheville courthouse to make sure it was all official.
Then we woke up at the sunrise to climb the Craggy Gardens Pinnacle Trail before meeting their friends to have a fun non so official ceremony.
After the ceremony they all gathered at their badass Air BnB to set up their gigantic cookie table, a Pittsburgh tradition and shared the most appropriate beer "Trophy Husband" and "Trophy Wife"
