Hailey and Brendan's In-Home Session

One of the main reasons I wanted to become a photographer was to document my couples lives, exactly as they remembered, in those moments of pure bliss and happiness before and after marriage - but no matter how much I try to capture "reality" those moments are always a little bit staged. 

So when Hailey asked me to come down to SC to document their time as newlyweds in their town home I was game. Not only are these two of the sweetest people I've ever met but Hailey is a great cook (and Brendan takes great photos of the food) 

During my 24 hour visit she made a delicious black bean soup I'm still dreaming about and an amazing waffle breakfast (which is documented below) 

While they of course wanted couple photos I took several snapshots during the visit to capture their authentic married life, eye rolls and all. 

I hope you enjoy this little glimpse of their life in Summerville/Charletson and look forward to seeing them on the blog again soon as I'm already planning my next adventure down south.
