Alison & David - Pool Engagement Session

I met Alison about 2 years ago at a random Summer Solstice event in downtown Raleigh. At the time I was looking for creatives to feature on Copper Creatives and started chatting with her about her Stationary Company - One and Only Paper.

Over the years I’ve done couple calls several times and Alison always responded but the spot was always filled until this time when I asked for a couple who wanted to get cozy in a pool together (oh and who had access to a pool)

Alison and David agreed and met me at 8 am on a random weekday to make sure they’d be the only people in the pool. I gotta give them credit for looking this fabulous and having fun at 8 am in a cold swimming pool but hey! There are worse ways to wake up in the morning.

I even convinced Alison to have photos taken more often (portrait sessions don’t have to be just for a special occasion)

And if you and your honey want to splash around in some water I’m down! (Unless it’s a lake - I have this thing about lakes so I’ll have to shoot that one on shore)
