Joyful Summer Courthouse Wedding in Durham with Katy & Daniel
A lot of times couples will want to find a photographer to capture big moments in their lives. Sometimes the big reasoning for that is because they realize their own camera rolls aren’t filled with as many photos of themselves, but rather of their children, their pets or the moments that they share. And for Katy & Daniel, they mentioned that part of the reason they wanted a photographer for their microwedding at the Durham courthouse is because they don’t often get nice pictures together.
I think when it comes to big moments in your life, whether it is your wedding day, your first pregnancy, or your first day out as a family of four, pictures are the most timeless gift you could ever give yourselves. It’s so important to take a moment and take a snapshot of the little moments that you can pull out for years to come. It’s even more important for engagements and weddings (no i’m not saying this because I’m a wedding photographer) and not just the big weddings, but simple events like Katy & Daniel’s. Microweddings may be short and sweet, but it doesn’t make it any less special or eventful. This is the one time you’ll have the important people in your lives gathered with you to celebrate something so monumentally special, and it’s ok to want to remember that.
