Blue Ridge Mountain Wedding at Brown Mountain Beach Resort - Emerson & Kiron

I've been so excited about this wedding since Emerson told me about it almost a year ago. She wanted to have a camp themed, Moonrise Kingdom inspired, Wes Anderson wedding in the mountains near Asheville and I absolutely loved it. Everything was perfect, from swimming, camp activities, and more.

They were married on the beach surrounded by friends and family, shared personal heartfelt vows, and danced into the night. My favorite part was when everyone shotgunned beers at the end of the night.

This is my second wedding at Brown Mountain Beach Resort and its becoming one of my favorite wedding venues in the mountains of North Carolina. Now that NC Parks Service is cracking down on elopements at National Parks I’ve been helping clients find the best wedding venue for their elopement or wedding in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Some of the Best Blue Ridge Mountain Wedding Venues (in my opinion) Are:

Brown Beach Mountain Resort: Obviously, I mean look at these photos. Who doesn’t want to get married on a beach in the mountains! That’s the absolute best of both worlds. With lodging on the premises all your friends and family can come and camp out and enjoy the beach before or after the wedding. Perfect for a camp themed wedding.

Sawyer Family Farmstead: With a 360 Mountain view at the ceremony spot, it’s a breathtaking view that will definitely impress your guests.

Junebug Asheville: Talk about retro. They have an airstream. A treehouse for micro-weddings, and a ceremony location nestled in the mountains. What’s not to love?

Claxton Farm: They have llamas. And yes you can take photos with them! I think I’ve convinced you.
