Nicole & Chase - Tropical Island House Wedding on James Island

One of the main obstacles of planning a wedding in 2020 was Covid, but try having a 2020 wedding in the middle of hurricane season, on an island, on the most popular wedding date of the century (10.10.20)

Well that’s exactly the situation Nicole and Chase found themselves in on their wedding day. A hurricane was heading straight for the island, predicted to make landfall right at their ceremony time and boy did it come down. But that didn’t stop these two from celebrating, they danced in the rain (literally), tromped through the mud, and had the best wedding day they could. Also one of my past brides and amazing friends who owns Out of the Box Bakery did the desserts, so if you’re looking for a wedding cake baker in Summerville or Charleston, she’s your girl!
