Only in 2020 does one wake up from their slumber on a random Wednesday, look over to their partner and say “Hey, do you want to get married next week?”

When Beth called me up to let me know that she made the spur of the moment decision to get married, I was on board, especially since I know Hillsborough like the back of my hand at this point with how many elopements I’ve been shooting there, but boy did I not know Hillsborough til I met these two. Hillsborough locals, we couldn’t walk a few feet down the road without a familiar face honking and congratulating them! Every store front held a memory and they were even engaged at Cup A Joe downtown. The site of their ceremony was actually the plot of land where they are building their future home together. Their “framily” as they call their friends who also double as their family, put the entire event together in less than a week.
