Kristina and Drew - Sunrise Engagement Session
A few weeks ago I held a contest to give away a free engagement shoot. Almost 60 people entered and when it came time to randomly generate a name Kristina's popped up! She told me she had never won anything before so needless to say she was pretty excited.
I can say however, I was no thrilled when she suggest a sunrise shoot - not that I didn't imagine that to be gorgeous BUT I'm not a morning person by any means. Needless to say I made it and lucky I did because I was able to capture this cotton candy colored sunrise we've been having recently.
We strolled around Joyner Park which to me resembled a valley in the mountains and not the flat lands of Wake Forest and grabbed some photos I'd be dying to take for years now. The weather was perfect, the sky fully illuminated, and I was ready to take on the day. By the end of the session my hands were a little cold and I got to see my first coyote in the "wild" but overall I'm so proud of these photos!
While I won't be photographing Kristina and Drew's wedding as they are getting married back in Mississippi I am happy to share this adorable engagement session and wish them all the luck on their wedding and in their future!
