I ventured out into the heart of Virginia to capture Amanda and Carlos's engagement photos on her family's farmland. It had snowed early this December (something that never happens) and we almost cancelled. But I'm glad we stuck it out even if my toes almost fell off from frostbite. 

This fun-loving couple was a breeze to photograph, and their family was so welcoming and inviting! I was so glad I got to spend time together with these two sweet, genuine people and Amanda's grandmother who made me a to-go bag full of country ham biscuits, cake, and Coca-Cola. Let me tell you, everything was delicious.

Can't wait to shoot their wedding this May.
