A Look Back at 2016 - & What We Have Planned for 2017
I started this journey in May of 2015 - only a year and a half ago - Three Region is growing rapidly, and I am extremely anxious to see what this next year holds for us. It's almost unimaginable to think what my life was like before I started Three Region. Who was that girl? How did I survive without this driving force in my life?
In this short amount of time I've met so many people, couples, families, girl bosses, young entrepreneurs and each one has pushed me to continue growing, to challenge myself, and push to become the strongest photographer and creative I can be.
This year we've captured 6 weddings, over 20 families, several first birthdays, and multiple engagements. We've been featured on Love & Lavender, Borrowed and Blue, & have a feature coming to Artfully Wed in April and another in Rock N Roll Bride. We helped style two shoots, both which were featured. We added a new member to our team - my husband Andrew, who is now a second shooter. We've expanded our reach from 1,000 monthly views to over 14,000. We also have grown as artists, individuals, adults, and small business owners & leaving us only two things to say -
1. Thank you - Thank you to all our clients, friends, referrals, families, and more who have helped push us - inspired us - kept us sane. Thank you for believing in us and to capture your most precious memories.
2. We aren't slowing down - at the beginning of the year we will be debuting at the Forever Bridal Show at the Fairgrounds - opening ourselves up to a larger and more diverse market. We will also be expanding our brand - Three Region Music now has it's own website (find it here) which will feature more content, more music, and produce a monthly digital magazine. Taking it's place on our home page will be Creative Community Content - where we will be helping small business owners in their first year, giving young entrepreneurs a chance to help and build each other back up over those tough times, it will also give insight into the basics of small business ownership.
Three Region is more than just a hobby or my company - it's become my passion, a integral part of my lifestyle that I don't think I could function without. I know that this next year will have so many amazing experiences, from working weddings with of the most picturesque mountain views, to celebrating fiesta's with High School friends, to celebrating my first birthday on "the bad side of 25", and traveling more in general I have a lot to look forward to on this upcoming year.
With both personal and professional endeavors looming in the future I'm hopeful that Three Region will become my main role - as I am still juggling quite a few other creative jobs & interests. While I never believe I will ever work just one job - I do want to focus the majority of my time and creative energy into capturing every love story I can.
Feel free to take a look back on our year and some of our most proudest moments - we look forward to working with you again in 2017.
